In the 360° video below, KayaFM investigated the recent drought experienced in South Africa.
Kaya FM was launched in August 1997, and was one of the first frequencies to be approved for private commercial radio in South Africa. The station format is 60% music and 40% talk, thus making it unique to other ICASA approved licence.
We have been commissioned to assist Kaya FM with a 360° Video on the drought that hit South Africa in 2016. You can watch the 360° video above on your desktop, tablet, laptop or smartphone. If you have a virtual reality headset, you can also watch it on your VR headset.
Virtual Reality news broadcasting have the power to immerse viewers into the story like never before. Instead of showing one perspective static video, news agency and reporters can now "Teleport" their audiences to the actual place where the news is happening, and showing viewers in 360 Degree images from the "News" event as the story unfolds.
We here at VR 360 can assist your News Agency with the technologies needed, to transform your listeners to the actual place the news are unfolding. Talk to us if you are interested in using 360° video or virtual reality in your company!
